The Weekly Pantry Organizer helps ensure our food pantry is welcoming, dignified, and easy to navigate for clients and staff. This role focuses on organization, restocking, and maintaining a calm, respectful space that supports food access with care.
Responsibilities
- Organize pantry shelves by category and expiration date
- Rotate stock (first in, first out).
- Check for expired or damaged items and flag for staff.
- Restock shelves from back stock as needed.
- Help maintain a clean, orderly, and client-ready space
- Communicate any supply needs or concerns to pantry staff.
- Lift, carry, and move boxes and pantry items as part of restocking and organization tasks
