The Weekly Hirsch Kosher Meal Packing Volunteer supports our food stability work by helping prepare and pack kosher meals for distribution to individuals and families in our community. This role ensures meals are packed accurately, respectfully, and with care, supporting dignity and consistency for those receiving them.
Responsibilities
- Pack weekly Hirsch Kosher meals according to the provided guidelines
- Ensure correct portions and items are included in each meal package
- Follow food safety, cleanliness, and kosher handling standards
- Label and organize packed meals for distribution or pickup
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace during and after packing
- Lift, carry, and move boxes and meal items as part of the packing process
- Communicate any supply needs or concerns to staff
